District Social Media Accounts
FCSD is now leveraging social media in an attempt to communicate more effectively with our communities. Schools now have Facebook pages and Twitter accounts. Community members are encouraged to “Like” our Facebook pages (listed below) and follow our school Twitter accounts to receive information about events at the schools, need-to-know information for parents/guardians, and miscellaneous news.

New Immunization Requirement for 7th Grade Entry, 2012-2013
The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) will require the Tdap vaccination for all students entering 7th grade beginning with the coming school year (2012-2013). Details are included in the PDF document available below.
Summer Professional Development Opportunities for Teachers
FCSD is using an online tool called Eventbrite to facilitate registration for summer professional development opportunities for district teachers.
